In Memory of My Loving Mother

This ride is in memory of my Mother, Lucia Kramer, who lost the battle to Synovial Sarcoma on October 12,
2006.  My mother was always there for me in the good times, the bad times, and everything in between.  Her
passing has been a struggle for me as well but my mom always taught me that I have to stay tough (among
other virtues).  She would say, 'Melissa you can not give up, even when times are pretty tough you can't give
up'.  This is why I joined last year's Team Sarcoma and will continue to be part of Team Sarcoma as long as I can. As difficult as a ride like this will be to me as I remember
and miss my mother, this is something I feel compelled to do.  I think my mom would be proud but also
worried I fall off my bike, or something. Miss you Mom, "love you this much!"
